The Ron Abuelo ‘Finish Collection’ is an engaging demonstration of applied craftsmanship in the art of rum aging. ‘Tawny’, referring to both the port cask and Portugal, is a 15 year old expression matured to perfection, which has been aged on Tawny port casks in its final phase.

Finish Collection:
This masterly series of rums is a new rum adventure with a double barrel aging. The names for the three different expressions have been carefully chosen. Of course because of the different end vessels, but also because of the region, which was the inspiration for the expressions concerned.
Tawny – for port, Porto and Portugal;
Oloroso – for sherry, Jerez and Spain;
Napoleon – for cognac, Cognac and France.
Only our finest solera reserves, with an average barrel maturation of 14 years on ex-bourbon, are allowed to ‘finish’ the last year on carefully selected end casks imported to Panama. These add the most beautiful characteristics to the taste palette.
