The Botran Rare Vintage ‘Ex-Agave Spirit Cask’ is a very original rum. The barrel gives the rum a great extra flavor pallet that leaves a real impression in the aftertaste. The blend of 8-25 year old rum first matured in different barrels and was then finished in the Ex-Agave Spirit Cask.

Tasting:
Colour: mahogany, with golden undertones.
Aroma: deep, with toasty oak characteristics and subtle hints of agave, vanilla and citric aromas.
Taste: balanced agave and toasty oak flavours, with a citric note.
Raw material: sugar cane concentrated juice (no use of molasses).
Ageing: dynamically aged in five distinct oak casks: american whiskey, recharred american whiskey, spanish fortified wine, portuguese fortified wine.
Finish: ex agave spirit casks.
