Dràm Mòr is the brainchild of husband and wife team Viktorija and Kenny Macdonald. The business started as a training and whisky events business, but has evolved to being a single cask whisky & rum bottler, originating from the once highly influential town of Dumbarton, Scotland. Dràm Mòr, means a Big Whisky translated from Scottish Gaelic.
Grays and Co. Ltd are an investment company from the island of Mauritius established in 1931.
Formally known as Harel Frères (1838), they specialize in the distillation of sugarcane spirits.
In 1980 they built the new Beau Plan refinery, which was renamed Grays refinery and is one of only 3 remaining rum distillers in Mauritius.
This particular expression showcases fine nutty flavours, dark chocolate and cinnamon on the palate.

Nose:
Sharp and vegetal, a dash of the barnyard and a huge estery note.
Palate:
Pure agricole, tropical fruit, sharp and sweet but with a lingering dryness
Finish:
So dry and wonderful, the mouthfeel of a great oloroso with stone fruit, hints of white pepper and unroasted coffee.
