Its aging continued, without any modification, without any additions of any kind until 2012, year when his son wanted to pay tribute to his father by bottling this extraordinary nectar. Imagine !! 28 years of barrels, 2,500 bottles available for the whole world. Evaporation (undoubtedly more than 70%) gives this rum an aromatic richness and a concentration which will bring it closer to old brandies of cognac or armagnac, with the persistence of the sweetness of the rum.

Mouth
Robust, while expressing a velvety softness. It is both dry and soft. Its palate conveys opulence, a cascade of flavors accentuated by notes of dark chocolate, succulent dried fruits, a touch of vanilla and flavors of yellow fruits, plum and peach mingle with dry wood and cinnamon.

Final
Sustained, with irresistible spicy notes and an unusual persistence. Its complex aromas still excel in empty glass. The roundness and sweetness of its taste make this 28 year old Old Rum a real nectar.
