The Hampden distillery in Jamaica has developed its reputation with very aromatic rums marked by their famous esters. This version of the 2010 vintage is a LROK (Light Rum Owen Kelly), a “light” rum full of indulgence that takes on Hampden markers such as roasted pineapple, a slight volatile touch and fresh vegetal notes. The contribution of the cask allowed this colorful rum to acquire a patina and gain in Aroma with more buttery and jammy notes.
