Created in Marseille in 1897 , Old Manada is the oldest of the Marseille Rum brands to have survived during the 20th century.
Historically, Old Manada was essentially made from rum from Martinique, but its aging and finishing were done in Marseille.
It is always produced this way. However, by freeing itself from the specifications of the AOC Martinique, it naturally cannot claim this appellation.
Our version of Old Manada Gold is made from agricultural rum from Martinique with a woody touch acquired by a short aging of 6 months in Cognac barrels.
