Manutea Rhum Blanc Agricole Tahiti 70cl 40%Vol
This pure cane juice rum honors the Polynesian terroir and the exceptional quality of O’Tahiti sugar cane. This unique cane thrives in extensive cultivation that allows cutting and harvesting by hand. The cane is then crushed only once without water supply. The juice obtained gives off an intense fragrance and its fermentation can then begin. After 6 to 8 days, the vesou is ready and contains 7°. The latter is then loaded onto the schooners to reach the island of Moorea and the Manutea Tahiti distillery. A passage in a discontinuous still allows the extraction of fine and elegant aromas of mint, liquorice and pear. This traditional production requires the master distiller to pay the greatest attention to adjust the different cuts as well as possible, which will isolate the head and the tail in order to keep only the heart of the toast where we find the whole aromatic palette of the O’Tahiti cane.
The last stage, that of aeration and slow reduction, will last 3 months before bottling.
