NOSE

Powerful and rich, great aromatic complexity. Powerful and refined aromas whose main notes are: Fruity: Litchi, lime, orange, fresh cane, sour apple. Floral: red rose and white flowers. Spicy: white pepper. Navy: light iodized touch.

PALACE

Powerful, complex, greedy. Exuberant, charming, very concentrated. Citrus fruits are very present, and accompany us to the end of the aromatic palette. The mouth becomes longer and more elegant. It widens with notes of sugar cane and brown sugar, tropical flowers and exotic fruits (pineapple, lychee, passion) which highlight the lush character of the first nose. The mid-palate evolves towards ginger and eucalyptus. A slightly saline breeze accompanies the aftertaste while length and finesse. Great persistence.

In lemon ti punch or in homemade fruit punch, with or without ice.

Since 1887 the Bologne distillery has camped on a unique terroir between sea and mountains. The velvety and fruity style of Bologna rums is explained by the magic that takes place between our volcanic soil, iodized air, spring water, exposure to the setting sun of our domain and our varieties of canes. This unique alchemy allows us to sublimate the expression of each cane variety by planting only the most qualitative varieties whose aromatic potential best expresses the typicity of Bologna rums. In a perpetual concern for quality, Bologna has chosen the plot management of its domain, which alone guarantees a perfect match between the terroir and the variety chosen. Harvested at their optimum point of maturity, our canes are immediately sent to the distillery to be crushed, fermented and distilled: their freshness is total and we thus prevent them from suffering from premature oxidation. Bologna applies a very precise style of distillation at low temperature which, thanks to our copper column, favors the expression of the terroir and our cane varieties, finesse and elegance while preserving the aromas as well as possible.
