Produced in strict compliance with traditional methods, the Rum Vieux Agricole XO (Extra Old) has aged a minimum of 6 years in small 180-liter oak barrels. The attack is very round, then develops a good power with a lot of clarity.
The aromas of the nose are here very concentrated and well raised by a rather sensitive spicy touch. On the finish, we notice hints of roasted beans and vanilla.
