Amber mahogany color, with a robust and structured body and a grand character. Toasted aromas, with a subtle touch of cherry, coffee and dried fruits, deep notes of wood and vanilla. In the mouth, intense sensations that end with a long and persistent aftertaste.
History:
In 1929, Julian Barcelo, a young 25-year-old Spanish man, moved to Santo Domingo to found Barcelo & Co. He had in mind to develop the best rum in the world. In 1950, after years of experimenting with launching different brands in the local market, the company reached its highest level in terms of product by launching Barcelo Blanco and Dorado. Immediate success!
Today, Barcelo & co, which has become Ron Barcelo SRL, is present in more than 50 countries and is positioned as the 4th largest rum exporter.
