SBS Cuba 2012 Bourbon and Virgin Oak Matured 70cl 50%Vol
S.B.S Cuba 2012 is a single cask rum with an outcome of 374 bottles only. The rum is from an undisclosed distillery and is based on molasses. The rum has been distilled in a column still in 2012 and was bottled in the 1423 warehouse in Denmark in October 2021. The rum has matured in an ex-Bourbon barrel followed by a virgin oak barrel. As common practice for Single Barrel Selection rums, no chill filtration has been used.

Description
Tasting Notes:
Nose: At first spicy and woody. With some time, however, the rum develops wonderful rich notes of coconut and vanilla.
Palate: The same aromas of coconut and vanilla can be found on the palate, reminding of pastry and creating a silky mouthfeel. The finish is adding a peppery touch to the rum.
