S.B.S Trinidad 1993 is a single cask rum with an outcome of 222 bottles only. The rum is from the legendary and closed Caroni distillery in Trinidad and is based on molasses. The rum has been distilled in a column still in 1993 and was bottled in 1423 warehouse in Denmark in October 2021. The rum has fully matured in a Bourbon barrel and was bottled at an ABV of 49,6% vol. As common practise for Single Barrel Selection rums, no chill filtration has been used. S.B.S Trinidad 1993 is their second “The Beast” expression.

Description
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Alcoholic and chemical notes like polishes at first giving space for deep notes of dried dates, prunes and gingerbread.
Taste: Heavy aromas of charcoal and rubber in the beginning followed by herbaceous notes and a hint of salt. The finish is long and intense.
