A limited edition by The House Above the Clouds in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. Inspired by mystery and intrigue, seeking an olfactory and flavored poem. This slow aging rum is the poetic expression of Guatemalan heritage and culture. This blend has been selected from a variety of aged rum reserves from 6 to 24 years with different characteristics. During the final stage of its aging process this rum has been stored in selected barrels that previously aged exclusive moscatel wines, where the rum awakens the vanilla notes, chocolate, raisins and floral aromas.

Description
NOSE
Soft, sweet start with aromas of caramel, vanilla, cacao and butterscotch. Continued by sherried notes of caramelized roated brazil nuts and toasted hazelnut, rounded out by toffee, banana and dried pineapple.
TASTE
Complex, generous and full-bodied. Starting with a depth of dried fruit and apricot, building to savory oak, nutmeg, leather and tobacco with notes of coffee and vanilla, balanced with a spicy touch of cinnamon and ginger.
FINISH
Intricate with honeyed butterscotch, spiced oak and dried fruit.
