Bête à Feu, is an agricultural white rum distilled from fresh canes, pressed once.
The long cane, cut by hand, is taken to the three-roll mill of the A1710 distillery, located at the Habitation du Simon in François in Martinique.
It is crushed only once in order to extract its nectar.
Distilled in a copper still fitted with its 7-plate column, Bête à Feu is then slowly reduced to 50.9%.

Bête à Feu and White Punch
Bête à Feu, Bêt à Fé for the intimate or Luciole for the more scientific.
In the West Indies and Martinican culture, white punch is a real institution and is an integral part of their culture.
If you take it when you wake up, it will be called “décolaj” or “put on fire”.
The one at 10 o’clock, dry, can be called simply “Feu”.
At noon your white punch, this time accompanied by a tip of sugar and a zest of lemon, could be called “Ti Feu”.

Tasting Notes
Bête à feu is adorned with a brilliant and limpid robe.
The nose welcomes us with notes of fresh canes, flowers and honey before evolving towards a mineral character underlined by a zest of citrus fruits. A harmonious and intense whole.
In the mouth, we are carried away by floral and fruity flavors such as pear and honey.
A very round rum which gives us a good length, rich in mineral and peppery notes.
