It is this selection with its singular nature which marks the intimate link between Maison Bologne and the history of the black cane.
Assembly of 3 barrels aged on 05/25/2014 from rums from the 2014 distillation campaign, the beginning of the 100% black cane saga of the Bologna house.
Barrels 184, 185,174 were aged in old 300L red cognac barrels with exhausted tannins.

Description
Tasting Notes from Rhum Bologne:
THE COLOR is brilliant with an amber color with coppery reflections. The tears are slow and opulent.
THE NOSE is at first glance empyreumatic with Turkish coffee and touches of fresh leather.
The acidity of passion fruit and blood orange goes wonderfully with notes of lightly cooked cane sugar.
THE MOUTH is the reflection of olfaction.
This vintage is characterful, very pastry-like with notes of cocoa, walnut hulls and candied pineapple; all melted into a complex rancio.
THE FINAL is very regressive thanks to the indulgence of a salted butter caramel melted in flavors of liquorice, tarte tatin and honey.
