El Dorado Rare Collection Versailles 2002 is a 100% unique Pot Still rum that was distilled in 2002 on the Wooden Single Pot Still of the former Versailles Sugar Estate. This Single Pot Still is the only one in the world that is still in use. This rum has been aged for over 12 years in ex bourbon casks under tropical conditions in Demerara’s warehouses. It is bottled at a cask strength of 63% and is non chill filtered to maintain its unique flavor profile.

Description
Tasting Notes:
The nose has a very seductive aroma of sweet vanilla, honey and sugar caramel, complemented by spices such as cinnamon and licorice. The palette is warm and dry but well balanced with sweet notes of dried apricots, vanilla and toffee, complemented by hints of oak, dried fruit and almonds. A fine rum with a round and sweet aftertaste.
