Tasting Notes:
Full bodied, complex and balanced with exceptionally long finish. Rounded complex nose of honeyed fruit, raisin, prunes and hints of spice with well integrated toasty oak aromas. Palate of honeyed raisin fruit, dried apricot, spices and hints of dark chocolate with a soft velvety texture.
Gorgeous, complex nose with toffee, vanilla, butterscotch and chocolate all jostling for position. Big, well rounded mouth filled with flavour as promised by the nose. Good backing of bourbon oak. Complexity added from notes of ginger bread, citrus and more vanilla. Rich, full finish. Gorgeous golden rum fully deserving gold – 2007 IWSC Judging Panel
