This is an exceptional rum from Fiji. Distilled in 2001, in a pot still at South Pacific Distillery. Aged for 22 years, some tropical in an ex-Bourbon barrel followed by some continental years in an ex-Caroni cask.

Description
TASTING NOTES:
What a nose! First, notes of green olives and capers, which then give way to smoky notes. In the mouth, it is an invitation to travel. We sail from a profile close to certain Savannas, to finish on a Caroni profile, passing through the typical notes of Fiji rums. The olive gives way to intense notes of white wax and gunpowder, then the finish takes us to oily notes of tar and very ripe mango. What intensity! A confusing journey.
