Hampden Estate, located in the Trelawny region of North West Jamaica, has been active since 1753.The distillery produces a unique rum, characterized by the use of spring water, prolonged fermentation with wild yeasts, pot still distillations, tropical aging and no added sugar or additives. Hampden today works using the same production processes in use since the 18th century , giving life to a rum with an unmistakable aromatic profile, characterized by a very high level of foreigners. Today Hampden opens a new frontier for all rum lovers. These official bottlings in fact mark a historic moment for the world of spirits, comparable to the arrival on the Islay Single Malt market in the 80s.
