Agricole Karukera white rum is made from the pure juice of a single variety of sugar cane, B69.566 or “Blue Cane”. The blue cane takes its name from its abundant wax which gives it a bluish color. Harvested at the Marquisat, its culture has been selected for its richness in sugar and its exceptional aromatic potential.
L’Intense Karukera benefits from a remarkable effort made in the selection of the canes, their harvest at full maturity in May and their immediate crushing at the distillery, an effort intended to preserve their taste qualities and freshness.
L’Intense of Karukera is the culmination of a slow maturation carried out over 16 months to offer amateurs an expression with high degrees to taste pure.

Beyond the imprint of the volcanic terroir of Sainte-Marie and the influence of the tropical maritime climate, it is the know-how of Karukera rums that shapes the unique character of this agricultural white rum from Guadeloupe.
The freshly poured eau-de-vie, measuring 78% alcohol, is isolated in a small stainless steel container. This remarkable batch is then refined by slow and gradual maturation and reduction in alcohol content: patient and continuous attention during which the rum is stirred, aerated and reduced slowly by adding cold water, prolonging the work of the nature.
Intensity and power characterize the nobility of this small cuvée 100% pure blue cane juice.
