After a first edition aged in vintage Armagnac barrels which you really liked, here is the same 3-year-old agricultural rum from the French West Indies on which we finished for more than a year in barrels having contained Pineau des Charentes Rouge.
This agricultural rum from the Antilles has benefited from 3 years of undergrowth in the tropics which has marked its character. A passage of 4 years in ex-Pineau des Charentes red barrels brings tannins as well as red fruit with empyreumatic notes.
