Traditional brown rum is initially traditional white rum that, after leaving the still, is aged in an American oak barrel.
When the rum has acquired the desired aromas, it is then bottled without the addition of sugar or spices.
This authentic brown rum is 43 percent alcohol.

Description
The rums of the Moulin Du Loup are produced from a very fragrant sugar cane molasses.
They combine this molasses with yeast and put this mixture into fermentation for a week.
The must, the result of this fermentation, is then distilled in a traditional copper pot still-type still.
After 10 to 15 hours of distillation, this raw still rum is between 70 and 80 percent alcohol and is the basis of all the Moulin Du Loup rums.
