O Reizinho White Special Edition 70cl 45%Vol

O Reizinho is a white agricole rum produced on the island of Madeira. The family distillery O Reizinho, located in Santa Cruz, presses the cane as soon as it arrives on site. The pressing is done without adding water, unless the brix value of the reed is higher than 18. This speed would be too high to start the fermentation, which takes 3 to 4 days. The resulting cane wine is then distilled in a traditional Portuguese still.
The white rum agricole O Reizinho is a quite expressive white rum. The nose is fresh. It opens with aromas of fresh cane. Lemony citrus fruit evolves into more peppery notes. In the mouth the attack is smooth. The fresh cane becomes more brioche. The peppery lemon evolves into more tangy, peppery flavors. In the finish, the freshness of licorice completes this fresh and elegant aromatic unfolding.
