This is a molasses rum, distilled in 2007 in the pot and column stills of the West Indies Rum distillery. The spirit then underwent a tropical maturation of 2 years in bourbon barrels, followed by a further maturation of 14 years in Cognac barrels in the Ferrand warehouses in Javrezac. The result is a unique experience with an alcohol content of 48.7% alc./vol.

Tasting Notes from the producer:
Nose: Very intense and spicy on sweet cinnamon and nutmeg, roasted almonds, flambéed banana, citrus peel and soft floral notes of honeysuckle and vanilla.
Palate: Sweetsour on citrus, custard, crême brûlée, coconut and pepper.
Finish: Very long on coconut, spices, honey, anised, vanilla and hazelnut.
