It’s very cool to be returning to Brazil, and even cooler to be using this first visit to EPRIS to point that out that just because its made from sugarcane, and its made in Brazil, that doesn’t mean that its going to be cachaça. Brazil makes a lot of spirits in general, and of this, Rum is particularly big. So yeap – a brand new producer – a batch 1 – and it’s Rum!
Production information on this producer is a little light on the ground, but we can confirm that our first foray into Brazilian Rum is both delicious and an exciting extension to our portfolio. Produced from sugarcane juice, this continuous column still distilled Rum, was then matured for eleven years in ex-bourbon cask, American white oak.
This is a really approachable Rum, perfect for drinkers of all experiences. Gifting? Well we’ve all got football mad friends right? Rum and footie feels like a thing!

Tasting Notes by Boutique-y Pete
Nose: Nutty, Black Tea, Gentle eucalyptus, underripe pineapple, sweet sultanas, and pink grapefruit. Golden syrup.
Palate: Lots of chewy golden syrup flapjacks, with a hint of green apple.
Finish: A cough candy combo of anise and warming cloves, along with astringent oak-y pencil shavings.
