The name “Nautilus” refers to a sea snail, belonging to a rare genus of squid, with a distinctive multi-chambered shell covered in mother of pearl. This choice was purposefully made due to its association with rarity, complexity and depth, similar to the unique characteristics of this sea snail. The label is designed in pearl, which emphasises the elegance of this choice.
This Nautilus Caroni is a beautiful thirty-one year old Caroni Single Cask Rum, bottled at cask strength (54.1%) and from the renowned, already closed Caroni Distillery in Trinidad. This Caroni Rum is distinguished by its high quality and exclusive edition of only 136 bottles. A rum variant that every rum lover can only dream of!

Description
Tasting notes:
Color: Mahogany Tawny
Nose: High esters, expected vanilla and caramel with a soft butteriness. Overripe fruit notes of mango and banana, accompanied by the signature Caroni funkiness and the recognizable hint of burnt rubber.
Taste: Powerful arrival with overripe fruit such as ripe pear, mago and banana, nuts and earthy notes that evolve into subtle rubber notes. Feels silky soft on the palate, with hints of green olives upon longer exposure to oxygen.
Finish: Floral, with violets and rose bushes, and developing notes from yellow fruits such as banana and ripe pears to stone fruit such as peaches.
Balance and complexity:Â The nose and flavor profile are beautifully balanced, with depth and complexity from the addition of burnt rubber, floral notes and stone fruit, such as peaches and butterscotch.
