Dràm Mòr is the brainchild of husband and wife team Viktorija and Kenny Macdonald. The business started as a training and whisky events business, but has evolved to being  a single cask whisky & rum bottler, originating from the once highly influential town of Dumbarton, Scotland. Dràm Mòr, means a Big Whisky translated from Scottish Gaelic.

This little pearl of a rum distillery, with its rich tradition of rum making, sits in a beautiful old estate amidst orchids and sugar cane fields in the north of Mauritius.
It continues the artisanal French tradition of producing distinctive and refined rums from pure sugarcane juice.
This cask was distilled in December 2014 using a traditional column stil and lived until 2016 in an ex-Bourbon cask in the tropical heat of Mauritius.
It came to the UK where it was re-racked into an ex- English whisky cask that once held red wine and was left to gently age until bottling.
