Guatemala rum distilled from sugarcane honey. They become the honey when sugarcane juice is warmed slowly until the water evaporates and only concentrated sugar remains. The sugarcane honey is then fermented with natural pineapple yeast for several days.
The Pasador De Oro XO is a blend of 8 to 15 year old rum. The largest part they are aged at high altitude in Guatemala. The last 6 months they rested in cognac casks in the Charente region of France.
