From an encounter between sugar cane from Guadeloupe and buckwheat from Brittany, Montebello’s first finish was born.
Our old agricultural rum Montebello befriended Breton eddu silver whiskey from the Distillerie des Menhirs and this was the start of a beautiful bond.
The LE LAY family has been producing eaux-de-vie in Brittany for more than a century.
Guy LE LAY, 4th generation of the family, had a dream, the creation of a buckwheat whisky, which he realized in 1999.
