Sampan Cellar Series Cognac Porto old rum is an innovative work offered by the Distillerie d’Indochine. It is made from the pure juice of sugar cane endemic to Vietnam from the most beautiful plots cultivated in the foothills of the Quang Nam mountains. Aged in ex-Cognac barrels for 36 months, it then benefits from a 6-month finish in ex-porto barrels.
The finesse and elegance of the pastry, vanilla, buttery and toasted notes brought by the cognac barrel harmonize with the rich and subtle fragrances of the port wine. The whole thing reveals captivating scents of white flowers and red fruits which balance perfectly with the reminiscences of fresh cane.
